Happy Pongal
I decided to take my digicam and walk around the neighbourhood. I took a few pictures and video clips. Here are the pictures.
It amazes me to see kolams of such beauty. People take a lot of time and effort to say "Happy Pongal". We don't know who you are. But we love the way you do it and Happy Pongal to all of you too.

This last picture is a bit different. As I was walking along, I saw this lady carrying a bucket of sugar cane fragments. She gave it to a couple of men she came across and greeted them. I caught up with her and asked her what she does. She cleans houses and the men she encoutnered were watchman in the buildings she works. This is her way of saying Happy Pongal.
