How do you do interviews? I live in a tech world where the first step is assessing the technical skills. But there are other more important components of an interview. How do you assess behavior under various circumstances and core values:

  • How well the person works with a team?
  • How do they interact with customers and colleagues?
  • How well do they articulate their thoughts?
  • How capable are they of out-of-box thinking?
  • How do they learn?
When I saw a link to Fifty Behavior Questions, I was curious. They are worth a read if you are interviewing people or attending interviews for middle management. Some questions are relevant even for  new recruits.  As I was reading these, I was wondering what my answers would be.
